Victorian Gold, a $21,000 Schumer Bloodstock purchase in 2024, gained a major update on Saturday as her first foal, Triskelian, won the Pea Patch Stakes at Ellis Park.
The daughter of Leinster, previously successful in a maiden at Gulfstream Park, came out on top in a blanket finish for owner Amy Dunne and trainer George Arnold to bring her earnings to approximately $150,000.
Triskelian is the first foal out of Victorian Gold, an Australia relation to G3 winner Raylene. Victorian Gold also has a colt foal by Highly Motivated.
