Scarlet Dixie, purchased by Schumer Bloodstock for $18,000 in foal to leading second crop sire Tiz The Law at the 2023 Keeneland November Sale, received a good update to her produce record on Tuesday when her daughter topped the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic May Two-year-olds in Training Sale.
Kerri Radcliffe and Alex Elliott, acting on behalf of Memo Racing and Amo Racing LLC, partnered to purchase the Girvin filly for $1.1 million. She will join trainer Chad Brown.
The filly is the third foal out of Scarlet Dixie, whose first two – Adios Dixie and Cool Dixie Man – are both winners. Scarlet Dixie is a winning Broken Vow relation to King’s Bishop Stakes winner Chimes Band.
