UPCOMING SALE: AUGUST 5-6 – FASIG TIPTON SARATOGA SELECT YEARLING SALE

stakes success for recent Schumer/Houldsworth purchase hot little thing

Having been purchased in conjunction with Matt Houldsworth of the British-based Howson and Houldsworth for $125,000 at the Keeneland April Sale, Hot Little Thing again rewarded her new connections on Thursday when successful in the Checkered Flag Handicap at Horseshoe Indianapolis.

Her win was her second in as many starts for trainer Brian Lynch; the daughter of Army Mule was previously trained by Rodolphe Brisset, for whom she won last year’s Back Home Again Stakes.

Hot Little Thing now boasts five wins for earnings of just over $225,000.
