Last weekend was a good one for Schumer Bloodstock connections in the Middle East. We start with the fantastic debut of Keeneland September purchase Duke of Immatin at Jebel Ali in Dubai. This lovely, great moving, Gun Runner colt was a $ 425,000 purchase last September and looks an exciting prospect for connections.
In Qatar, one of our breeze up graduates, Aeon’s Aegis won the Qatar Derby Trial in Doha quite handily. Purchased at Fasig Tipton October privately after failing to meet his reserve and beautifully prepared by our Irish partner Anna Calder of Leamore Horses, he was sold at Arqana in May.
Finally, in Saudi Arabia, two nice winners of late. Our Keeneland September purchase Mitole Boy won well and perhaps more impressive was the debut win of Maysaa. This daughter of Daredevil was a mere $ 12,000 weanling purchase at the Keeneland November sale. Congrats to the winning owners!
